In store, You can purchase gift cards for any amount from $10 to $1000.

Online, You can purchase gift cards up to the value of $250.

Can I add more value to a Gift Card?

No, after the Gift card is issued, you cannot add any more value to the Gift Card.

Can I bulk order Gift Cards?

Can I buy something that costs more than the value on my Gift Card?

Yes, you can use the Gift Card for part payment and pay the balance using other accepted cards or cash.

Can I use more than one Gift Card in a purchase?

Yes, you can redeem multiple gift cards to complete a purchase.

Can I buy something that costs less than the value on my Gift Card?

Yes, the value of your purchase will be deducted from your gift card balance.

Do I receive change on a gift card transaction?

No, any balance will remain on the card.

Does a gift card expire?

Yes, Gift Card expires 3 years after issue date. Issue date can be found on the back of a Gift Card. Also, you can check your card’s expiry date online or by calling 1300 409 245.

Can I get my Gift card replaced if it’s lost, stolen or damaged?

No, your gift card should be treated like cash. Lost and stolen gift cards will not be replaced or refunded.

Can I use my Gift Card online?

No, our gift cards can only be used in store.

Can I use my Gift Card straight away?

Yes, as soon as your card is activated, you can use it to make purchases.

Why can’t I use my Gift Card at some stores?

Most of our stores are operated by independent operators. It is at the store owner’s discretion as to whether they accept gift cards or not.

How can I check the balance of my Gift Card?

You can check your card balance on here or by calling 1300 409 245.

Where can I find the Card ID and Access Code?

All reference numbers are on the reverse side of the card. You will need the Card ID and Access code to query account balances and prior transactions.

Can I check my Gift Card balance in-store?

No – balance checking can only be completed here or by calling 1300 409 245

Can I get my money refunded, exchange my Gift Card for cash or withdraw money?

No, your gift card cannot be refunded, exchanged for cash nor used for cash withdrawals.

Is there anything I can’t use my gift card for?

IGA food and grocery gift cards can only be used for food purchase. No alcohol, tobacco or restricted goods can be purchased with this card.

How can I redeem my gift cards?

Present your Gift Card to a cashier at checkout for payment and provide PIN number of the Gift Card. If you’re at the Self-Service checkout, when prompted, enter your Gift Card PIN number into the EFTPOS terminal. PIN number is located on the back of a Gift Card and using a coin or fingernail, scratch off the foil covering PIN number.

How to return goods that have been purchased with a Gift Card?

Returns and refunds will be provided in line with each retailer’s refund policy.
